San Ramon City Center Bishop Ranch Hosts Regional Autumn Artisan Showcase and Small Business Fair
Outdoor civic plaza convenes dozens of local creators, ceramicists, and gourmet food purveyors for weekend community gathering.

City Center Bishop Ranch announced Wednesday that its expansive outdoor piazza will transform into a vibrant regional autumn artisan showcase and small business marketplace on Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25. Situated at Bollinger Canyon Road and Sunset Drive in central San Ramon, the architecturally acclaimed civic retail center will host more than forty independent artisans, regional ceramicists, and specialty culinary purveyors from across the San Ramon Valley, Contra Costa County, and the broader East Bay.
The weekend community festival celebrates independent creators specializing in wheel-thrown pottery, handcrafted jewelry, organic fiber textiles, and small-batch pantry specialties. Event coordinators emphasized that the market fosters authentic civic connection and neighborhood vitality, offering an inviting open-air setting where San Ramon and Danville families can meet local craft makers, listen to live acoustic musical performances, and enjoy outdoor dining overlooking the center's tranquil reflecting fountain.
San Ramon Chamber of Commerce representatives commended the initiative for providing accessible retail visibility to local micro-enterprises and home-based artisans navigating competitive commercial retail environments. Beyond artisan booths, the festival features hands-on craft workshops for children, seasonal pumpkin decorating stations, and informational tables hosted by local non-profit community foundations and environmental groups.
Admission to the outdoor marketplace and multi-level parking garages is completely free to the public throughout the weekend. Visitors, families, and prospective shoppers can inspect the complete festival timetable, participating artisan directory, and live performance schedule online at citycenterbishopranch.com. Inquiries regarding community programming and upcoming seasonal activities may be directed to City Center guest services Monday through Friday at (925) 815-1902.
